Lyrics

Use lyric filling when a sequence of notes requires ordered syllable text.

Fill selected notes

1. In Plan mode, select the first note and any following notes that should receive text.
2. Enter space-separated lyric tokens in the batch lyrics field.
3. Choose Fill from start.

The tokens are assigned in score order from the selected starting note. If the selection contains more notes than tokens, remaining lyric slots keep their existing values. If the text changes pronunciation, the phoneme plan is rebuilt for the affected material.

Conditions and results

Condition	Action	Result
One syllable belongs to one note.	Assign one lyric token to that note.	The language package plans pronunciation for the syllable.
One syllable must continue across notes.	Assign the lyric to the first note, then apply a slur.	Continuation notes remain part of the same sung syllable.
Text was assigned from the wrong note.	Undo, select the intended first note, and fill again.	Token order is restored without manually editing every note.
