Built-ins

Amadeus ships one Vietnamese language package and three general pitch processors. Their parameters are saved with the voice and appear in the Inspector at the modes declared by each package.

Each processor has an enable control. Disabling it skips that layer; a neutral parameter value leaves the layer enabled but removes that parameter’s effect.

Module Purpose Parameters
Vietnamese Plans Vietnamese pronunciation and optionally shapes lexical tone. 6
Compressor Reduces abrupt local pitch reversals. 4
Slur Smooth Rounds voiced pitch transitions between notes. 2
Vibrato Adds delayed periodic pitch variation. 3

When all shipped pitch layers are active, they are applied in this order:

  1. Compressor
  2. Slur Smooth
  3. Vietnamese tonal field
  4. Vibrato

The order matters when two layers affect the same frames. For example, the compressor acts before generated vibrato, so it does not remove the vibrato introduced by the shipped Vibrato layer.

If a result becomes difficult to attribute, set the relevant Amount or Depth control to its neutral value, bake, and re-enable one layer at a time.
